I just love those ten minutes in my day… The ones we spend together at the school bus stop. In these ten minutes I get to know you a little better every day. In these ten minutes we reinvent the world.. We create one of our own.
Where every critter has a name. Bruno the sparrow, Geoffrey the bunny, Bubulle the cardinal, Bob the squirrel and the Robin family, just to name a few. They all greet us every morning, each in their usual spot, going on about their lives just like we do. I love when we pretend they’re having silly conversations with each others.
You add a beautiful magic in my life, in those precious ten minutes. A magic I’d never trade for anything else in the world. The neighbors can call us crazy, I just don’t care! I know that Bob’s a thief and that the Robin husband is cheating on his wife. And you know it too…
Ten minutes is all it takes…

Such a lovely image and I adore conversations like that!
What a magical piece. And you are so right to make this time- for all too soon you will revisit it over and over and be glad it’s part of your memories x
Such a sweet reminder to make the most of each moment. Thank you for sharing 🙂
That is sweet – my ten minutes with my daughter is at bedtime…although actually usually a lot longer than ten minutes!! x
beautiful post and you are so right, its those little moments that make the memories
I feel very moved by this sentiment….and reminded that ‘quality time’ is not found at theme parks or shopping malls – it’s found in random, playful and fleeting moments, and you’ve captured them beautifully. x
