Every year, our city holds a Circus festival, along with a fair. Always at the beginning of summer, right after the school’s out. That’s how we start our summer vacations. There’s nothing quite like being in the rides day and night, with the live music, street artists, and happy crowd. The kids love it! Even if the rides are quite small compared to our local Six Flags park, they do go back, year after year. And of course, the lights, the rides and colors make for great photo opportunities.
I do believe these moments we share together every summer will be part of the memories they keep of their childhood…

I absolutely LOVE fairgrounds and circuses! We have the most amazing hippodrome in Gt Yarmouth on the Norfolk Coast- one of our best kept secrets (it has a floor that sinks and fills with water!)
Lucky you!
Haven’t been to one of these in forever, but use to go to Six Flags over MidAmerica two or three times a summer growing up in Missouri. Love your images and will have to check out this ‘blog circle’. sound fun.
peace n abundance,

Oh, Isabelle! It looks like wonderful fun!! =) Even though I grew up going to Disneyland every year and had a six flags near us – we have wonderful memories of the Carnival that would come to our very own neighborhood! And, one of the scariest rides that I’ve ever been on was the Ferris wheel!! Yipes!
Beautiful images!!! =)
